You can see a prominent Create your AI button on the homepage and profile page, click on it to enter the Chatbot creation panel.
Configuring your Chatbot requires setting up some fields. Please read the following content carefully, as we will explain in detail the meaning and purpose of each field.
The Avatar is the visual representation of the Chatbot, solely used to display to you and community users, and will be shown in the chat interface.
The Chatbot's name is not only used to display to you and community users. The Chatbot will define itself as this name during interactions. Moreover, whether in the messages you send or in the system prompt, the {{char}} placeholder will automatically be replaced with the name.
The Bio is only used to introduce your Chatbot to community users. It will not have any impact on the Chatbot's system prompt (personality, character, language style, etc.).
You can add up to 5 custom tags to help community users find your chatbot more easily.
The System Prompt is crucial. You should input the Chatbot's personality, language style, scenario, background story, etc. into the system prompt. When you and community users interact with the Chatbot, it will always follow the configuration in the system prompt.
Notes:
When configuring the system prompt, you can use {{char}} to refer to the Chatbot's name and {{user}} to refer to the username interacting with it. It is recommended to use placeholders rather than directly using the Chatbot or user's name. For example, assuming the Chatbot's name is Sam and the username is John Doe, here are recommended and not recommended cases:
Recommended: {{char}} is a good friend of {{user}}.
Not recommended: Sam is a good friend of John Doe.
When configuring the system prompt, it is advisable to use the third person. Although the first person still works, our testing has shown that the third person is more effective. Here are recommended and not recommended cases:
Recommended: {{char}} is a 30-year-old male...
Not recommended: You are a 30-year-old male.
The "Greeting" is the first message automatically sent by the Chatbot when you or a community user opens a chat window with it for the first time. This message will be recorded in the context and influence the conversation. During subsequent dialogues, the Chatbot's language style will be similar to the greeting. For example, if you describe the Chatbot's mental activities or actions in the Greeting, it may continue to depict its mental activities and actions in subsequent conversations. If the greeting is brief, then the Chatbot's language style in subsequent conversations may also be concise.
*Please use {{char}} to represent the chatbot's name, and {{user}} to represent the user's name, like Hi, {{user}}, I'm {{char}}, how can I help you?
You can choose to enable Voice and select one of the preset voices we provide (it is disabled by default). If you enable Voice for the Chatbot and select a voice, then when you and community users interact with the Chatbot, you will see a voice playback button. Clicking this button will prompt our text-to-speech system to read the message using the selected voice.
Visibility refers to who can see the Chatbot, with three options:
Public: The Chatbot will appear on the homepage and your profile, where anyone can see and interact with it.
Private: Only you can see the Chatbot.
Semi-Private: The Chatbot will not appear in public areas, but if you share the Chatbot's sharing link, those with the link can interact with it.
Choose whether to allow other community users to see the Chatbot's System Prompt. We encourage you to enable this option as it can help other community users learn your System Prompt writing techniques or provide suggestions for improving your System Prompt.
Once you have completed all configuration items, click the Publish button. If there are no errors in the configuration, the Chatbot will be successfully created. Afterward, you can start interacting with the Chatbot or share it with the community.
